About the Service

The Snow Project is an independent snowsports information hub that aggregates live webcam feeds, real-time snow forecasts and slope details for mountain resorts, indoor snow centres and dry slopes. The Service is provided free of charge. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

Accuracy of information

We strive to keep slope information, forecasts and webcam links up to date, but we make no warranties about accuracy, completeness or reliability. Specifically:

• Forecasts are supplied by the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (met.no) and reflect model predictions, not guarantees of actual conditions on the ground.
• Webcam feeds are operated by third parties. Availability, image quality and refresh rates are outside our control.
• Slope details such as run counts, lift counts and elevation are provided for guidance and may change without notice.

Snow conditions and mountain weather can change rapidly and without warning. Always check official resort information before travelling and follow the guidance of local authorities and ski patrol. The Snow Project is not a substitute for official sources.

No professional advice

Content on the Service is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional, safety, meteorological or travel advice. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk. You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others when visiting any slope or resort.

User accounts

To use the favourites feature you may create a free account. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

Third-party links and content

The Service contains links to external websites, including resort websites, pass sellers and webcam operators. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of any third-party site. The inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement. Webcam images and streams remain the property of their respective operators.

Intellectual property

The Snow Project name, logo, design and original written content are owned by The Snow Project and Reap Clothing. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute our original content without permission. Third-party data and imagery are subject to the terms of their respective owners.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Snow Project and Reap Clothing shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes any losses resulting from decisions made on the basis of forecast or webcam information shown on the site.

Advertising

The Service may display advertising provided by third parties such as Google AdSense. We do not control which ads are shown and are not responsible for the content of advertisements or the products and services they promote. Your interaction with advertisements is solely between you and the advertiser.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
